How Much does Invisalign cost?
The cost of Invisalign depends on a few things, such as:
- Whether you have a “comprehensive” treatment, “Invisalign lite”, or “Invisalign Go” as they are all priced differently*
- Where you live, as dental practitioners will charge relatively in different areas of different cities
- Whether your dentist or orthodontist charges extra for whitening, bonding and retainers at the end of your treatment.
* Depending on the severity of your case, your orthodontist will recommend the best treatment plan for you.
How much did I pay for Invisalign?
I personally paid £4,500 for Comprehensive Invisalign treatment in the UK. This is approximately $5700 in US Dollars.
My comprehensive plan includes an unlimited number of trays and refinements, and also includes permanent and removable retainers at the end of the treatment.
Is Invisalign available on the NHS?
If you live in the UK, then you’ll be wondering whether Invisalign is available on the NHS.
Unfortunately, it is not available via the NHS and it is only available privately in the UK.
Most dental treatments are only available privately these days in the UK, and even simple procedures such as fillings are difficult to get due to availability of NHS dentists in the UK.
You will have to find an Invisalign practitioner in your local area and enquire about pricing. 0% finance options are often available.
Is Invisalign Covered by Insurance in the US?
If you live in the US, there’s a chance that your insurance may cover part of the cost of your Invisalign treatment.
Medical and dental insurance policies in the US are extremely varied, so you’ll need to check with your specific insurance plan to see what is and what is not covered.
Is Invisalign Worth it?
For me, I’ve had excellent results with Invisalign so far and I cannot believe how far my teeth have come in just 7 months.
